Sussex Bay Business Charter.
Together we can create a thriving Sussex Bay where nature is recovering and communities are shaping change.
Impact, together.
How we work.
Sussex Bay is home to thousands of businesses, from sole traders and independent shops to major employers. Together, the choices we make about how we employ people, buy goods and services, use resources and contribute to our communities can make a real difference to the place we share.
The Sussex Bay Better Business Charter is a simple way for your business to play its part.
It is not an accreditation and there is no assessment or score. We don’t expect every business to do everything. The aim is to recognise what you are already doing and encourage you to take the next positive step for people, place and nature.
The Charter is organised around six areas: Good Business, Good Work, Local Prosperity, Strong Communities, Nature & Water, and Sussex Bay Together.
How do I sign?
To sign the Charter, choose one or more actions you will work on over the coming year under each area.
Choose actions that are relevant to your business, realistic for you and capable of making a difference. You can start small or be ambitious. What matters is making a meaningful commitment and building on it each year.
Complete your declaration here [link] and your business will become a Sussex Bay Business Charter signatory and a member of the Sussex Bay Alliance.
You’ll receive Charter and Alliance branding to use and hear about opportunities to get involved, collaborate, volunteer and support nature recovery across Sussex Bay.
